Visions of Excellence is a collection of 50 arresting images selected in the 73rd annual Pictures of the Year International competition, celebrating the work of the world’s leading photojournalists. This exhibit focuses on pivotal events of the past year and ranges from spot news and sports to memorable feature photographs and portraits.

Co-presented by Pictures of the Year International, The Kansas City Public Library, and the Kansas City/Mid-America chapter of the American Society of Media Photographers.


October 22nd, 2016, 8:30 AM - 5 PM, at Cap Gun Studios (1219 Union, KCMO 64101). Students, new assistants and emerging photographers do not want to miss this hands-on workshop with some of KC's most experienced photographers and assistants. Register now!
